Wayzata Beach Bash is BACK! Beach Bash began in 2013 in coordination with Wayzata's James J. Hill Days; an annual event established in 1975, presented by the Greater Wayzata Area Chamber of Commerce. Beach Bash began in hopes of drawing more people and more excitement to an already fun event and city, as well as extend the festivities into the evenin...g hours with a big party! 2018 was one heck of a party with Toby Keith performing to a sold out crowd and Jonny Lang delivering an awesome Friday night show. We had a great lineup in 2017 with Randy Houser headlining the Friday night and Big & Rich throwing one heck of a party for our Saturday night show. Our 2016 show was amazing with Jennifer Nettles and Jerrod Niemann taking the stage for a night of country music. Sammy Hagar and The Circle with Don Felder, formerly of the Eagles played for a packed house on Saturday night. In 2015 we had Dierks Bentley with Maddie & Tae and Canaan Smith and a rockin Saturday night with Soul Asylum and BoDeans co-headlining. 2014 was just as fun with Friday night performances by Billy Currington with LoneStar and Hitchville. Saturday night we welcomed The Goo Goo Dolls with Martin Zellar and Cowboy mouth. In our first year we learned that two nights were better than one. Although it was hard to tell, because we had a killer performance by Big N' Rich! They absolutely loved Beach Bash and the Minnesota vibe! Accompanied of course by the great Cowboy Troy. Carnival rides, food, waterski shows, and car shows are just a few of the festivities found at James J. Hills Days. Located on Wayzata Beach, the venue is unique for an outdoor show. With a capacity of 5000 people, the experience is unlike any other where you get to see national level entertainment in a very intimate setting. There are different genres of music each night, so there is something for everyone to enjoy. We can't wait to see everybody come enjoy in the Wayzata Beach Bash experience.
